Not a big deal to authors with bigger followings or sales, but for an indie author, hitting 9,000 books sold seems like a pretty good accomplishment. August 15 was the day. Someone bought a copy of War Party and that was number 9000. I’ll never know who that was, nor is it likely they’ll ever know that they were a milestone sale for me. Still, a big thank you goes out to them and to everyone else who has ever purchased one of my books. Now I’ll just hope to reach 10,000. Isn’t that what we do?
