We all need someone to believe in us, to help us believe in ourselves. Koronus is no different. He doesn’t feel good about himself. He feels he has no useful skills and now he’s fallen in love with an elf princess. He’s smitten by her but what can he do? Will anyone see the good in him? Certainly, his mother sees him as wonderful, as mothers often do. But that’s not enough. She’s expected to support him and that taints how she makes him feel. Is there anyone else? Maybe and Fairwind just might be that person. We all need someone who touts our strengths and gives up confidence to strive to improve and feel good about ourselves. We’ll see how it unfolds. There might be hope for Koronus.
