It isn’t often that an author, especially an indie author, gets to talk to a reader one-on-one. Even less likely is when the reader has lots to say about the book and it becomes clear right away that this reader read the book and even better, understood the nuances that the author intended. When it does happen, it’s like a jewel for the memory, to be cherished, saved, remembered on the days when the author feels like a failure. I hope every author who reads this gets such an encounter. Not long ago, I did. Thanks to readers everywhere.
