As promised in my last post, back to Koronus. He is just beginning to figure out that he has a useful talent that even his father should acknowledge. And then he meets an elf princess who totally steals his heart. Not that she means to, but from the moment he first sees her, he’s smitten. Remember he’s mid-teens and hasn’t had much experience with women and probably has raging hormones. When I think back to high school, I remember being infatuated by the girl down the street. She was so beautiful; I got silly whenever I was around her. It is what boys do. Well, Koronus is about to do the same thing only he’s fallen for a several hundred-year-old elf who is not naïve enough to misconstrue what’s happening. As you might guess, this is unlikely to work out like it did for Aragorn and Arwen in LOTR. It’s going to be a long-lasting problem for Koronus unless he can get over it.
