Much of the time I don’t think I’ve done much, especially stuff that my followers and readers would care about. Maybe you wonder when I’ll be publishing something new. What is there to look forward to if you are going to continue following these posts? With that in mind, here’s what I’m doing. I hope some it gets you eager to hear more.
Earlier this year I decided that I wanted to see War Party become a movie. Write a screenplay, I was told. Well, the screenplay is done and it was a struggle. It has been sent to the first reader, who actually has some movie connections. I don’t know when I’ll hear back on this but I will be sure to post whatever I learn.
Right now, the third book in the Galiwee Visions series (no title yet) is my main priority. The first draft is done and I am about a quarter the way through a rewrite. The goal remains to publish in September. However, my editor is currently busy and I’m not sure if her schedule will open up enough in time for that. I will keep posting updates here.
The other large on-going project is to complete a prequel trilogy for the Tirumfall fantasy series that is currently available at Amazon. The new set of books will show who built the tower, why it was built and why it was abandoned and remained empty for so long. It will fill in the history of the tower and the wizards who lived there. Books 1 & 2 of the prequel have made it through first draft. Once the new Galiwee Visions book is done, I will tackle the final book in the prequel series. Barring setbacks, all three of them should publish in 2024. Aggressive, sure, but I think it can be done.
