Writing is pretty much a solitary endeavor so it’s really great when Mother Nature provides you with company. I write most of the time in a third floor “office” and it’s quiet up here. Now, I’ve got company and inspiring company at that. An oriole pair built a nest just outside my window and their colorful plumage and the basket nest are treats that I get to watch while I write, or look for inspiration. Thanks for that blessing is all I can say. Here’s a pic of the nest and one of the birds. I can’t wait until there are little birds.
