Oops, I hope I haven’t lost too many of you. We were talking about Koronus. So, back to the story – book 1 that is. Recapping, Koronus got a black book from his friend Fairwind that he’s convinced contains information that will help him become a wizard. But he can’t read it. It’s written in magic. But persistence pays and Koronus eventually figures out how to read the little black book of magic. He even figures out how to work a few of the simpler spells. When Koronus reports back, Fairwind is amazed and takes it as proof that Koronus will become a powerful wizard but only if he’s allowed to pursue such a career. Sure, except Koronus knows his father hates magic because the last time anyone in the family got involved with magic, Koronus’ great uncle summoned a demon that nearly ended the entire family. How will he be able to convince his father to let him travel to the wizard’s guild in Tirumfall to learn from the masters? Or will he?
