The festival is over, the theaters quiet, and most everyone has gone home. The short films have announced their winners, Oscar contenders now Live Action Short and Animated Shorts. “For The Birds”, an awesome live action short that really deserves Oscar consideration. One of my favorite shorts was called “The Way It Used To Be” that unfortunately got bypassed by the jury. I guess you have to be in education or know someone who is to get the full impact from this film. I wish the filmmaker future success. You did a great job on this one and I still can’t believe you did it all, write, shot, edit, in 48 hours.
