Let the butchery begin, er, I mean editing.
I got more chapters back from editing and it’s a mixed bag. Here and there I’ve hit the mark, no red ink. Other spots the red flows like a torrent. It needs work.
In the meantime, what about Koronus? He certainly has his problems, which I’ll get to next time. More important is that I’ve got a complete manuscript, over 100k words, action, magic, elves, giants, trolls, dragons, battles and all that. But NO title. That might be important. I’ve been kicking around a number of titles, some ridiculous, some maybe good. I’m thinking about “Koronus: Apprentice”. He’s not an apprentice yet but that is his immediate goal. He desperately wants to learn magic and actually become an apprentice. Whether he’ll manage that or not remains to be see and that’s much of what this book is about.
