My editor has been working hard and keeps sending back chapters. There are red lines and marks for sure. Mostly minor stuff, typos, punctuation, etc. But sometimes it’s a bigger problem. The latest chapter I got back had a couple of sentences circled in red with the comment “awkward.” Hmm, awkward, what does she mean? And then I tried reading the paragraph and realized this was her nice way of saying WTF! I didn’t even know what I’d meant to write there. Thank God she caught it. So, without being able to figure out what I was trying to say, I deleted the whole mess and wrote a new section that did seem to fit. UGH. And thus, “Koronus: Apprentice” continues to move forward. I hope when it’s published readers will think it was worth the wait.
