Wonderful Novels That Change Readers

Every writer that I know wishes to reach readers in a way that changes them; makes the reader see things differently including themselves.  But writers mostly never know if even a single reader has been touched.  If you’ve been strongly affected by something you read, let the author know by posting a review.  I don’t mean just with a rating.  Say something about what it was in the book that got to you.  You will definitely make an author’s day.

Speaking of books that will change how you see things: Birch Cathedral by Carolyn Bodell Berg.

If one of your friends was diagnosed with a terminal illness, what would you do?  Especially if your friend was determined to do something with the time they had left and wanted you to join them on a journey to search for answers. Val, the main character in Birch Cathedral faces exactly that dilemma.  What she and her friends do for Lucy goes beyond friendship and leads to magical discoveries that change them all.

A book worth reading.
